Why have an opt-in?
Like them or not, opt-in popups, slide-ins and banners are an effective way to build your mailing list and connect with your audience – and email is still considered by many digital marketing experts to be one of the most effective ways communicate with your customers. It can however, be a daunting process formulating and presenting an irresistible offer.
According to Graham Cochrane, writing for Growth Lab, “growing your email list is the most important thing you can do to grow your business. After people visit your website once, they may never come back and see what products or services you have to offer. But if you have their email address, you can show up in their lives at any time you want and offer them something amazing (either paid or free).”
